black lacey and see through to go home in
no one knows her body but him
planning a little something special for the millioneth time
she walks through the door for the millioneth time
headscarf thrown to the side
she checks the time
he'll be home soon
she does her hair
puts on her make up
sprays her perfume
and anxiously waits
cooking dinner
making his plate
lighting some candles
he comes a little late
he kisses her and sits down to eat and play his game
with no attention paid to what she wears or the new food she's made
if not for Allah she could not obey
maybe tomorrow she'll wear her lingerie outside anyway
and get the attention she's been missing.
